Veterans Day is an important holiday for the country, for myself, my family, and everyone here at DroneUp. Our company has deep roots in the military and every year we come together to pay our respects to the men and women who have served and continue to serve this country.
As a veteran myself spending almost 17 years as a Naval Officer, I am proud to say that at DroneUp, we employ a large number of veterans in a wide array of positions.
DroneUp is a certified Virginia Values Veterans (V3) company, with over 30% of our staff being veterans or spouses of veterans. And that number continues to grow as we expand our workforce and bring more job opportunities to the drone industry. I believe that these men and women bring a unique perspective to the organization through their training and experiences. They demonstrate a truly incredible work ethic, a passion for getting the job done, and elevate the entire industry.
So on this Veterans Day, I wanted to express my thanks to the veterans across the country and to those working hard at DroneUp to make our mission successful. We’re honored and proud to have you on the team.
