The judges were comprised of HRIC Board and Appointees, who’s criteria consisted of overall business impact, scalability, growth factor and use of technology and innovation. Dan Bell, CEO & President of the Hampton Roads Innovative Collaborative, stated, “Of the applicants reviewed, DroneUp has an excellent application for public safety and law enforcement on a national level. The service model is scalable and applicable to a variety of roles from small to large. And, the use of technology is innovative. DroneUp has progressed significantly in the last two years.”
