Rod Rodriguez, Pilot Engagement Specialist
DroneUp announces, Rod Rodriguez, Pilot Engagement Specialist. Rod will focus on community development, mission creation, as well as pilot deployment and technical support. Rod comes to DroneUp Part 107 certified with comprehensive inspection experience for 118.85 logged flight hours and 29.9 SENSO hours. As a Team Mission Commander he covered land and sea flight operations utilizing 5 different platforms and 8 different sensors performing inspection of power lines and bridges in extreme heat and cold temperatures. In addition, Rod’s brings to DroneUp and extensive RC and maintenance background. And, rounds out his resume with search and rescue, power restore and storm assessment flying. Rod is a twenty-year Veteran, having retired honorably as a Navy Chief Information Systems Technician specializing in network defense and cleared to work on classified assignments. Welcome, Rod!
